This page contains details of the LMA events
at which the public are invited to attend. These events are always extremely
popular with LMA members and public spectators. A list of this year's
events is presented first and then some reports from previous events to give
you a flavour of what you could be missing.

A great way to start the year. Come along and see what LMA members have been up to over the winter. Talk with modellers about their construction techniques. Attend the seminars. First Public flying event of the year at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre home of Just Jane set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. A map is available here
The LMA will once again be running the flightline at this event on behalf of the Bury club,which is staged on a WW2 airfield,so expect a good selection of large models and teams. Friday the 30th April is for LMA Members and Club Members only. A map is available here
Fourth official year that the LMA has supported this popular Scottish model event, recommended you visit. map here
A well established show on a great site in fabulous countryside hosted by the Northumbrian Model Aircraft Society. Come and see the LMA in the North of England. A map and accommodation details are available here.
Known as the biggest and best model show in the country. The range and scale of the aircraft flown is truly awe-inspiring. Cosford museum is one of the best in the country ,visit the Cold War section a host of interesting items to view. A real treat of a model show. Arrangements are not yet finalised, but you can sure we will have something special to show (with the usual caveat on conditions of serviceability and weather conditions). A great show with donations of the funds made given to local charities. A great way to end the show flying year. Sponsored by Herefordshire MAC at their flying field just off the A449. A map and accommodation details are available here.

This is the third year we have arranged a static show to compliment the start of season event at Wigan. Not only do you have the opportunity to see, and examine large models and talk to their owners and pilots, there will also be ample opportunity to browse the extensive trade stand area and visit the motor exhibits.
