Military And Flying Machines 7th 8th AUGUST

Postby graham buchanan » July 20th, 2010, 4:57 pm

Hi All,

Once again we have been invited to fly at Military And Flying Machines at Damyns Hall Aerodrome Essex.

This year’s event marks the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, and pays homage to the brave men and women who risked their lives during the darkest days of 1940, defeating Hitler’s Luftwaffe and paving the way for victory.

So we have been invited to fly alongside the full-size display.
The MVT have given us between 3 and 4 40 minute slots each day to display our Aircraft.
The theme is WW11 but all display aircraft are welcome .
The majority of the audience will not of seen these Large Models fly and will be astounded on your craft.

This show is something Different but very enjoyable, something for the hole Family.

Here is the Link to the Show http://www.militaryandflyingmachines.org.uk/

Hi Stephen,

Yes not a problem with your pit crew!!!
If you can get on site as early as poss that would be great, and just tell the guys at the gate you are with the model aircraft group they will let you through, and then head toward the mane display area.
If any trouble at all give me a call on the Mo 07971674236 and I will come over and guide you in.

I visited this show as a paying punter, though got roped in by Ivan to be his caller for the A10 flight on Saturday, and what a cracking show it was. Lots to see and do on the ground and when the flying started it got even better. I have never seen the BBMF Lanc thrown around in such style and the Kent Spitfire display at the end was superb, throw in lots of other planes and Dave Stephens as well and you have a good day out.
