The promised LMA statement on the 2.4GHz at public events throughout 2008 is now published on the 2.4GHz page.
A statement covering the use of 2.4GHz equipment at LMA events this year will shortly be posted in the 2.4GHz page via the menu bar under 'information'.
The first LMA event of the year Wigan symposium was a resounding success, record number of large models on display, high attendance with all our trades reporting excellent trade results. Further donations to the "John Willis appeal" are reported on the appeal page.
New picture of the month, East Kirkby map added to events calendar, Bickley entry form corrected, Sir John Willis appeal updated and some minor housekeeping.
The Sir John Willis appeal is well under way with funds so far totalling £1200, a financial thermometer is shown on the appeal page. Maybe the target shown is a bit over the top, lets see how far we can jointly get towards it.

Some of you may wonder why the site has not been updated for some time, sorry about that, I was on holiday without my laptop and on return found my internet connect not working very well. (Tiscali is causing grief with many of their customers)
This month is a sad occasion due the untimely death of Air Chief Marshal Sir John Willis KCB, CBE, RAF.
The events calendar has now been amended to include all the latest events and dates with entry forms for camping where relevant.
Committee picture now updated with the new main committee and the Events committee. Renewal forms for CAA exemptions (new and renewal) have been added. Note: any minor omissions will be corrected over the next few days subject to Tiscali.
